Ellen Edwards is the founder of JewelsByElan.com. She started her accessory company back in the mid 80’s where she was located at Herald Square Center on 34thStreet in Manhattan. Ellen also was one of the original vendors in the Port Authority pushcart program and had an accessory section in the well know Barami store chain headquartered at 61st and Lexington Avenue in New York City. In addition to designing her own jewelry, she had a host of other accessory designers showcased in her stores. Ellen has taught jewelry design and “Turning Your Craft or Hobby into a Business” at the Learning Annex, Seminar Learning Center, Pratt, Parsons, St. John’s University, College of Mt. St. Vincent, Suny Purchase, Baruch, Manhattanville College, College of New Rochelle and a host of other continuing education programs. Ellen was invited to Pennsylvania by QVC to present her designs to the QVC buyers. After taking a few years break from designing, Ellen has come back more energize. She now has incorporated clothing into her mix.
